The company is expanding at a frenetic pace but the bothers of employees are not taken care of. I have an outstanding profile - the company simply refuses to assign me the right job. I am more proficient, efficient and have been rated the best in all my performance reviews but they would not promote me for I have lesser experience and I may be too quick to hop to the next role. I have never heard like that anywhere. The career growth is almost stunted after the first few years. The pay is way too low for a company that is sitting on a $1 Billion cash reserve. Yes, $1 BIllion - Debt free - company simply would not pay its employees what they deserve. The upper management rose from humble beginnings. But that does not mean the employees must also have the same route. They spend millions decorating the campus. If only they also share that with the employees. They say employees need to be recognized/certified by professional organizations. But the management would scoff and mock when we get one (much more even before we get one..) and say what use this is for. I assumed my line of pathetic management was a drop in the ocean. But with my discussions with others I realize only such drops exist almost everywhere. This is not the company it used to be several years ago. The turnover rate is quite high. Goes withour saying, I will contribute to this sooner. The company conducts employee satisfaction surveys. But it would not share results for months together. Then they will collate the data and say nothing what the company is doing. They recently completed 25 years. They announced a bonus close to INR 13 million. We came to know about the news from media and not from the company. This was frustrating. Again they never indicated how much each employee would be getting. This indicates the management is inconsiderate. I can write a book -' The rise and fall of a (dwarf) giant'!
